DYNAMIC SPEED & FITNESS Training Goals :
An athlete has three major joints that produce strength and force that enables him / her to run, jump or shuffle/slide. These joint are the hip, knee, and ankle joints (components of triple extension). Strengthening the muscles that support these joints will allow the joints to handle the stresses, and sheer forces of the strength-speed exercises / movements (which can produce power). The harder and faster you push against the ground, the faster you run, higher you jump, and quicker you slide. If you do not have a good connection between all three joints, you will lose the force needed to be a complete athlete.
Exercises used to accomplish total triple extension development :

Olympic lifts – Hang Cleans, Push Press, Clean & Jerk, Snatch, Man

Pre-Season Programs
Get a jump start on your season with a solid program that will not only help with strength gains, but will enable more efficient recovery during the long two-a-days of late August. An athlete that is trained properly not only has a better chance to perform at a higher level during the two-a-days, but also has a far better chance of staying healthy. Pre-hab (injury prevention) exercises are incorporated to help ward off the potential for early season injuries do to overloads / stresses your athlete(s) may not be ready for.
In-Season Programs
It is imperative that an athlete maintain the strength, coordination, balance and healthy body during their competitive athletic season via an in-season strength program. Coach Dyer's in-season program will help your off-season/pre-season muscle gains and synergy stay at a high level in order to peak during the right times of your competitive athletic season.

Post-Season/Off-Season Programs
This is the time of the year that you have the opportunity to improve on your weaknesses and grow. Our programs will not only allow you to become bigger and stronger but more athletic as well.
All of our programs have a natural progression of strength training, but also include; Olympic Lifts (fast twitch fiber recruitment) and upper and lower body Plyometrics (explosiveness).
As an individual or team, your training should be helping you towards your goals of improvement for the next season.

Group or Team Training (All Sports)
• Have your Group or Team prepare for their upcoming season with the correct form and techniques using sport specific exercises. All exercises are designed to enhance your athlete’s natural athleticism and improve their weaknesses as well as their strength. Group and Team sessions help build unity, comradely, mental toughness and team chemistry.
* 2-4 Sessions Recommended Per Week *
• Have your Group or Team maintain their strength and stamina to ensure they peak towards the end of your seaso. Maintain muscle movement education to help prevent injuries and to provide more efficient recovery from a practice or game
* 1-2 Sessions Recommended Per Week *
GROUP / TEAM – Training that is designed for that group with planned progressions from the first session on. The work outs will be logged and group/team members progress will be monitored with specific goal oriented testing.
INDIVIDUAL, PAIRS AND GROUPS OF 3'S – Training to meet your personal strengths, improve weaknesses, and attain goals. The work outs will be logged and progress will be monitored with specific goal oriented testing.
